Flower Patch {and a little freebie}

True to form, Laurie's Scraps has released another great kit, called Flower Patch. I fell in love with this kit before I even knew it was a kit {Laurie's blog is all decked out with this kit}!! The flowers are so soft and pretty, there is great stitching, and the butterflies are gorgeous!!

Here's the page I did - it's from the calendar I am making. It just screams May to me, so now I'm ready for spring!! Enough of this cold and snow! Bring on the flowers and sunshine!

The only time he stops is to sleep, or when he's sick! I managed to sneak this picture of his heart-warming smile while he was playing recently. Isn't he the cutest!?!?

Snow Fever

I thought I might be turning into a winter person, but after this past weekend, I think I changed my mind! LOL! It snowed ALL. DAY. LONG. on Saturday (and more yesterday)!! We got at least 10 inches! And since DH was gone to meetings most of the day, I got to be the one to drag out the snowblower and get it started for the year - ugh!!
