Projects...

I had to post this LO that I just finished up - and of course, I LOVE IT!!

Kit is Floral Fusion by Digi-Designs by Nicole and Stolen Moments.

My wonderfully talented MIL made all the grand-daughters these AdoRaBle aprons for Christmas. Aren't they just the cutest!?!? I am so envious of her talent, but very thankful that she is so generous! I only wish my pictures did them justice!

Speaking of improving pictures...
I'm in the process of taking a class with Jessica Sprague. So far, it's pretty basic for me, but I have been enjoying it. Today, I fancied up this picture of DH and oldest son

Nothing terribly WOW-ish, but fun!

Sidenote: my son caught this fish, but wouldn't come near it once caught!
DH practically had to force him this close to get the picture! They're at a fish farm, and I love how you can see the fish swimming in the water (hey don't knock it - guranteed success = happy boy!).

Template Challenge @ Stuff To Scrap

Stuff To Scrap is hosting a different kind of template challenge this month. You get to make your own template! There are some rules associated with it (like certain shapes to include), so if you want to participate, go check it out.

Here is the template I came up with. It is sort of similar to Template #1.
If you like it, you can get it here for free!

And just so you can get an idea of what a page would look like using this template, here is the page I did.

Another First!

Have you ever used a photo mask? I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I never have!
(gasp!!)
I really wanted to try the Clean and Simple challenge over at Digital Scrap Cafe. I just love the look of simple and uncluttered, but don't do it a lot because I try to squeeze lots of pictures on most of the pages I do. But seeing some of the other pages that had already been posted just enticed me even more.
So here is my go at this challenge. I have to say, I really like it!

{These are my 2 oldest kids, in 2005, actually being NICE to each other!
Christmas is wonderful for that!}
