Happy Saturday everyone! Just popping in to remind you all about the challenges going on over at Laurie's Scraps. Not only can you get a free template, and some great ideas for those pages you're trying to get done, but you can also earn points towards free stuff from Laurie's store!! F.R.E.E!!! Seriously, how can you pass that up?!?!

This month, Laurie is challenging you to create a layout with just faces and little to no background for the layout contest.

The font she has chosen for the font challenge is
and you can snag it here. Hop over to the forum to see what's happening with this font.

And of course, Laurie has put together a great template that you can pick up for free! Run to the forum to grab it and see what has been done so far with this template. Here's mine - hopefully it inspires you to get this one done!
Remember to read the rules for each challenge, and get those pages submitted!! Happy scrapping!

Under Construction

No, it's not my blog that is under construction! Although, it probably could use a facelift! Laurie's Scraps is releasing a new kit today, called Under Construction, and it is so much fun! It's got lots of fun construction-themed elements, my favorite being the elements that look like gears! The colors in this kit are so rich and are perfect for boy pages! I'm always on the lookout for great boy kits!

Here is one layout I did with this kit

And here is the entire kit. You can click to head to Laurie's Store, where you can buy the kit for 30% off this week!
Stop by Laurie's blog for a great freebie to go along with this kit!

Pretty Princess

Hello!! I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and that you're all having a super start to the new year!

Nicole has a great new kit out today called Pretty Princess, and it's full of all things princess - crowns, a glass slipper, bling - you name it!! Take a look at what I did with this kit!

I love all the feminine elements in this kit! They remind me of when my oldest was really into dressing up as a princess. She didn't have one favorite, but if your little princess is stuck on one in particular, this kit even has beautiful metallic-looking names (like Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine - just to name a few) for you to use to give your pages that extra-special touch! Take a look at the entire kit and the coordinating QPs! Click to head to Nicole's store!

If you use coupon code Princess you can get the princess names set for free! But it's only good for this week, so hurry!

And make sure you stop by Nicole's blog for a freebie add-on, perfect for scrapping those cute little princes in your life!
