New kit by Laurie's Scraps and a Freebie!!

Laurie's Scraps is releasing a great new kit today, called Bug-A-Boo. I love this kit - it has great colors, lots of elements, and is so versatile!

Of course it would be great for scrapping all those bug-grabbing, child-wonder kind of moments. But it's also great for scrapping those every-day, life-happenings kind of moments! See for yourself! This is my oldest son, lounging with a cracker sticking out of his mouth!

Run on over to any of Laurie's stores...AFTER you finish this post!! To get you all excited for this kit, I've got this cute little wordart as a freebie for you.

Don't leave just yet!! There are some exciting things going on at Laurie's Scraps Forum. There is a layout challenge, a template challenge, a font challenge, a quote challenge...how could you possibly ask for more?? Well, now you can try your hand at a Speed Scrap!! I LOVE Speed Scraps! Not only are they a great way to get a layout done really fast, they're a great way to meet new scrappers and get some great inspiration.

So, come to the speed scrap next week! Click on the flier to go to the forum!

I Can't Believe I'm Doing This...

Really, I can't believe I'm doing this! Here are 4 more papers that coordinate with the last paper pack I gave away. I AM NOT A DESIGNER!! The white in the first stripe paper just bugged me a little, so I fixed it. One thing led to another, and suddenly I had 4 new papers!! And as I'm looking at this, I think it would be lovely for Christmas pages too! So, if you want them, you can grab them here (or click on the preview). Thanks to those who have commented, it really makes me smile! Feel free to put a link to anything you create with them in a comment!

Word of the Week Challenge

I just finished up a LO for the "Word of the Week" challenge at the Stuff to Scrap forum. This is one of my favorite challenges, because it gives me lots of new ideas for layouts. I love how this LO turned out, so I thought I'd post for you to enjoy. Click here for a detailed list of credits (there's a lot).
And to my mom, who better come over and read this: I know I'm a bit late on this, but ConGraTuLatIonS!! I can't believe what you went through to get your degree! You are one tough cookie, and incredibly determined. Maybe that's where my kids get it from!! I'm proud of you and glad to say you're my mom!
