Spooks and Smiles

It's time for another great kit from Digi-Designs by Nicole. Can you believe Halloween will be here this week?? My kids are so excited - as any kid would be!! I must confess - I'm not a really big fan of Halloween - GASP!!! So, I'm not really very good about taking pictures of my kids all dressed up. But I managed to find a few so I could put this kit to good use! Take a look at the page I did with Nicole's new kit "Spooks and Smiles."

This one has some great elements in it, and has an overall spooky feel to it. I just loved that tree and thought buttons would add the perfect touch! The sparkly stars are so much fun too!

Here's a look at the entire kit, and of course you can click on the preview to head over to Nicole's store!

There is also a great set of QPs that you can get while you're shopping. If you buy both the quick-pages and the kit and use coupon code spooky, you can get them both for only $5.00. Coupon ends on Halloween night.

Don't forget to stop by Nicole's blog to grab a freebie add-on just in time for Halloween!

Template Time

First off, WOW!!! I just checked 4shared, and there have been 700 downloads of the kit I posted this week!! WOW!! I am so blown away!! I never expected that so many of you would like it! Thank you for all your sweet comments and encouragement! Maybe I'll have to dabble a little more!

Now, to the business at hand. Laurie's Scraps has released a great new set of templates today. For those of you who may be working on Project 365, or for those of you who want to get a lot of pics on one page, this is definitely a set you won't want to miss! Check it out!

Laurie's templates are always so easy to work with - there's just enough there to give you a great set up, but there's still plenty of room for personal style. So you can get that journaling in, or plop on all the cute elements. The sky is the limit!

Here are a couple of pages I did using two of these templates.

I would have liked to play with these a little more, but I had a toddler who was screaming instead of sleeping!! Despite that, I am very pleased with the way these pages turned out - and I got both of them done in under 2 hours (that's a record for me folks!)!!

Hurry on over to Laurie's store to pick up this set of templates - they're 40% off through tomorrow night!

Another Freebie!!

Here we go again!! I needed something to scrap some pics of my 2-yr-old, and I didn't have quite what I wanted. So, I got inspired and put together a kit (actually it took more than a day to do, but the inspiration was there)! And it has elements this time, not just paper! Here's the page I did. It was for the Motto/Slogan challenge at Stuff to Scrap.

My niece was actually the inspiration behind this kit. She LOVES all things pink and brown! You know who you are, so thank you! I thought I'd share this kit with those of you who would like it. Remember, I am not a designer!! Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated, and I'd love to see what you do with this kit!

I hope you enjoy, and don't forget to leave some love if you download!
